Privacy policy

Effective November 7, 2026

What we collect

  • When you click a deal link: which deal, which page you clicked from, the referring page, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), and a random visitor ID stored in a cookie so we can count unique visitors. We do not store your IP address with these records.
  • When you ask us to get a deal for you: the name, phone, ZIP code and, if you give it, email, buying timeframe, trade-in answer and message you type into the form, plus the consent you gave.

How we use it

Click records tell us which deals people find useful and show sellers how many shoppers we send them. Lead information is used only to confirm the deal you asked about and connect you with the dealer or seller offering it. We share your lead information only with the seller of the deal you asked about. We do not sell your information to data brokers or to lenders.

Your consent on the lead form

The form asks you to agree to the following before anything is sent:

By checking this box, I agree that Zero APR Hunter may share my name, phone, email and ZIP with the dealer or seller offering this deal, and that Zero APR Hunter and that seller may contact me by phone, text or email about it. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. I can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text or telling whoever contacts me.

Links to other sites

Deal links go through our site first so the click can be counted, then take you to the seller. Those links carry tags (such as utm_source=zeroaprhunter) so the seller knows the visit came from us. Once you are on the seller's site, their privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

Click records are kept for up to two years. Lead records are kept for up to two years, or deleted sooner if you ask.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser; deal links still work without them. To have your lead information deleted, reply to whoever contacted you about your request and ask, and we will delete it.

Advertising and referral fees

We may be paid by dealers or sellers for qualified shoppers or advertising. That never changes how we label a deal: true 0%, intro 0%, and deferred interest are labeled the same whether or not a seller pays us. We are not paid by card issuers, banks or insurers.
